Generating forests
The feature allows configuration of up to three types of tree models (per session) and automatic generation of between several hundred and several thousand trees at predefined locations. Collective deletion is also available.
 
Reinforced crossing features
More crossing types are available for generation now. Complicated flat crossings and road signs are supported through 3DS output editing. An improvement has been added so that vehicles can run through the crossing models.
Vehicle configuration/ waypoints
Configuration of driving routes, starting positions, running behind other vehicles (ex. trains), sound configuration, and railroad crossings by setting action control points is available.
 
Realistic flags
The flag feature offers flags swaying in the wind and supports simplified views and realistic views as well as transparent views of ripped areas of the flag (color selection).
 
River and lake commands
The river command defines rivers with horizontal line shapes. The lake command defines oceans and lakes by their areas. A number of visual expressions such as reflections (on the water's surface) with selected textures and colors are offered.

Wire frame Provides a 3D wire frame view. All the textures become transparent. Weather conditions Allows the generation of rain and snow. The number of flakes and the wind speed and direction can be set.
Terrain design Allows to set the radius of field of vision, ground altitude, slope based textures, transparency. Clouds and sky Offers choices of sky texture and diverse conditions of cloud: density, height, sparseness, etc.
Street map Geographical information obtained from the Digital Map 2500 (Spatial Data framework) and satellite pictures is presented as a street map. Moon and stars Displays direction, elevation angle, and phase based on GMT, date, and time.
Road Shows the road including cutting and filled terrain. Unchecking this option restores the previous condition. Sun Expresses sunlight and its flickering. Unchecking this option offers a night view.
Road sign Shows road signs. The locations and sizes can be changed. Creation of textures in the BMP format. Various view locations and modes are supported. Light Switches eyelights and spotlights off and on.
Trees Displays tree models. Although texture is used, cross arrangement views offer natural vision from every viewpoint, including above. Full 3D tree models are also available (moves with the wind) Flight route compass Show linear flight path. Shows each direction: S SE E NE N NW W SW.
Texture Allows a high-fi expression by increasing and decreasing the size of the texture. Landform texture can be tuned and altered based on sea level and the gradient. Cockpit Shows the cockpit's front, rear and sides of cars and airplanes. Bicycles is also available as default.
3D model Displays 3D data that are assigned as models. Models can be hidden for a before-after view of the construction. Lake Horizontal water surfaces can be set. (Texture, transparency and texture movement are available)
Shadow Resolution and range of shadow can be set-up in detail. Tilting and rotation of the map Shows view angle and direction on a flat map. The direction of the mini-map can be fixed or follow the rotation of the camera or be fixed.
Fog Shows condition of fog. Denseness, height, and the expression mode can be configured in detail. Running a simulation in the fog is possible. Sound effect Offers sounds of walking, running, flying, etc. that are compatible with the WAV file format.
Texture options The filtering method of the textures can be set for both magnification and reduction. Antialiazing and anisotropic filtering area also available. Performance options Hiding objects smaller than the specified angle and using occlusion testing on models containing more than the specified number of polygons is possible.
 
Artificial light
A simulated lighting feature is offered by alternating textures for day and night. As lighting effects, blending and overwriting are supported. Moving models such as cars can be alternated as well.
 
2D horizontal plane view
Horizontal location information is displayed realtime.

Supporting Japanese/English(NZ)/Korean/Chinese
The standard version offers international use, allowing the switching of traffic rules (Japan, NZ, Korea, China). The Chinese limited version supports the Chinese language interfaces and traffic rules.
